Born in 1976, Ecco discovered his passion for electronic music at the age of 12 while listening to Jean-Michel Jarre on repeat. With his Walkman on, he enjoyed BMX rides soon accompanied by the rise of New Beat, marking the beginning of a remarkable musical journey.

His fascination for this universe only kept growing. In 1990, at just 14 years old, he was already experimenting in his parents’ venue and quickly developed a strong passion for mixing sounds. In 1996, he reached a new milestone by acquiring his first turntables and mixer.

Ecco’s style stands out through a harmonious fusion of techno, ethnic influences, tech house, minimal and house. In October 2005, he launched the “United-Elektro” and “Acid or Not” concepts in Brussels, in iconic venues such as Ric’s Boat and Der Machine in Leuven. These events quickly became successful and gathered some of Belgium’s finest DJs.

Building on this momentum, Ecco continued creating and organizing innovative concepts across various clubs and bars in Brussels, strengthening his reputation within the Belgian capital. After performing in many legendary venues such as Silo, Café d’Anvers, Decadance, La Rocca, Cherry Moon, H2O, Fuse and La Bush, he decided to expand onto the international scene.

His international journey brought him to prestigious destinations including the Full Moon Party in Thailand, Ushuaïa and The Place in Ibiza, Rachdingue in Spain, Strandfeest Festival in the Netherlands, Studio 80 and Cue Bar in Amsterdam, Crystal Lounge in Algeria, Marx in Luxembourg, as well as L’Autre Monde and several renowned venues in Bordeaux including Le Deck and BT59.

In 2008, Ecco took another step forward by entering music production and creating his own label, Kiss My Beat. The project achieved immediate success and further strengthened his status within the music industry. Then in 2020, he became a resident for the Tipik Party show on RTBF, Belgium’s biggest radio station.

Ecco’s music is supported by major international artists such as Carl Cox, Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, Stacey Pullen, Technasia, Nicole Moudaber, HoneyLuv, Nic Fanciulli, Roger Sanchez and many others.

His tracks are played in some of the world’s most prestigious clubs and festivals including Hi, Space, Amnesia and Pacha in Ibiza, Tomorrowland in Belgium, as well as Kiesgrube, Time Warp, Awakening Festival in Germany, Sunwaves in Romania and the Music On concept. His creativity shines across every continent, making thousands of people move on dancefloors around the world.
